My training techniques are gentle, focused and structured approach and reward-and-correction based.
Every dog and owner are different and my strategy is always tailor-made. My lessons are one-to-one (no classes) to allow a personalised approach with individualised advice and correction.
I can help with any disobedience issue your dog might have . . .
Consistency is crucial in dog training, that's why I like the whole family to get involved.
Part of my training includes home visits (naturally with puppies that's where we start), to demonstrate how structure, rules and boundaries can be applied indoors.
Followed by quite structured and controlled lessons in the open (using super long training leads to keep the dog safe). When dog and owner are ready we will go on training walks to put learned behaviour into practice and to the test.
However many lessons someone needs, depends on the dog breed, the dog's history, problem complexity and age. But also on the openmindedness and level of committment coming from the owner.
Whilst younger dogs may learn quicker, no dog (and owner) is too old to learn. You will see on my testimonial page that some owners have seen a dramatic change in their dog after just a couple of sessions.
This is more likely to be because of what the owner - not the dog - has learned . . . resulting in a change of the owner's behaviour towards the dog (and vice versa).
I will show you how to . . .
Please do remember that consistency is key to success.
It only works if you commit to continue the work outside our sessions.
No star is ever born overnight and hardly ever without any work.
Your time and energy investment will be so worth it in the end.
What you will have is a dog that not only loves you as its owner.
But also fully respects you as its leader.
With respect comes submission.
And with submission comes obedience.
Your dog will be happy, relaxed, well-balanced and sane.
And you will be a relaxed, happy and very proud owner as a result.
